Furthermore, heavy-duty chemical protective clothing is equipped with special protective devices, such as airtight zippers and chemical-resistant gloves, to provide more comprehensive protection.

3. Special Environment Chemical Protective Suit

Special environment chemical protective suits are designed for specific environmental conditions, such as high temperature, low temperature, and high altitude. They are made with special materials and processes to meet the requirements of different environments. For example, chemical protective suits for high-temperature environments need good heat insulation, while those for low-temperature environments need good warmth retention.

4. Disposable Chemical Protective Suit

Disposable chemical protective suits are mainly used for temporary chemical protection in laboratories, hospitals, and other similar locations. Made of special polymer materials, they have good durability and biodegradability and can be discarded after use.

II. Materials of Chemical Protective Suit

The choice of material for chemical protective suits directly affects their protective performance and service life. Common materials for chemical protective suits on the market include:

1. Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)

PTFE is a material with extremely high impermeability, suitable for protection against high concentrations of corrosive chemicals such as strong acids and alkalis. However, PTFE has poor breathability and is not suitable for prolonged wear.

2. Fluororubber (FPM)

Fluororubber possesses excellent abrasion resistance, impermeability, and aging resistance, making it suitable for protection against high concentrations of corrosive chemicals such as strong acids and alkalis. While fluororubber materials offer good breathability, they are relatively expensive.

3. Titanium Alloy

Titanium alloys exhibit extremely high corrosion resistance and impermeability, making them suitable for protection against high concentrations of corrosive chemicals such as strong acids and alkalis. However, titanium alloy materials have poor breathability and are not suitable for prolonged wear.
